Adam Attends Celebration for "Mysteries"

Last week's rating for TVB program "Mysteries" got an average of 23 points, more than 1,170,000 viewers. It has risen 8 points compared to the previous program. Yesterday Adam, Wong Yi Hing and Konnie Lui attended the celebration for "Mysteries" and they responded to the netizen's complaints and criticism.

"Mysteries" has been getting good ratings since it was broadcast but it has also received many criticism and complaints for the show. There are netizens who complain that the show is too bloody, boring and the mysteries are unsolved. And also complain that Wong Yi Hing's voice is very low and sound as if there's an olive in his mouth. There are complaints that Konnie Lui has been wearing a red dress in every episode and looks more like a ghost.

Adam is called Adam (Cheng) in the show. Adam was asked how he got his name? Adam expressed that his real Chinese name is Cheng Chong Sai (creates the world), so he chose Adam as his English name and he had also forced his wife to use the name Eve (Adam and Eve).

Regarding the complaints, Adam thinks it's just a few complaints, if not there wouldn't be more than 1,170,000 viewers watching the shows. Adam has gone online to read those complaint messages and he feels that if they don't change the tones they speak, will it still be interesting to watch the show? Adam laughs and says, "Anyway, it's good to be scolded, just let the viewers voice out their angers. Most importantly is, after they scold and watch, it pulls up the ratings."

Adam also speaks good words for Konnie Lui, he says Konnie Lui is able to attract viewers' attention whenever she appears on screen. As for the complaints that the program is boring, Adam disagrees. Adam says, "How many people really watch discovery channel? For those professionals, maybe they will think it's not attractive enough but for normal viewers, I think they will like it. I think it's entertaining. If everything is explained clearly, it's not so mysterious. My family also loves to criticize but they still love watching it." When asked if his wife loves to watch? Adam says, "Of course my wife doesn't like Mai's girl because she is younger and prettier compared to her." After Adam said it, he knew he spoke wrongly so he laughed and told the reporters to write carefully, if not he will be scolded when he gets home.

As for the netizens who turn Wong Yi Hing's picture into Ware-wolf and Adam into Spider man, Wong yi Hing feels that they are creative. As for being criticized, he feels that he doesn't want to use the same way to host. As for his voice, he laughs and says his voice has always been like that. He says he will listen to all suggestions, but he will analyze them and he thinks he doesn't need to take it seriously. Although it got dissed but people are also watching it so it's still a good thing.

As for Konnie Lui being complained for looking like a ghost and acting like a background board, Konnie disagrees but she admits that her makeup does look too heavy. She reveals that she will have different image in each episodes.
