"Mystery" Producer Talks About the Show

Adam and Wong Yi Hing's "Mystery" has only beeing airing for 2 episodes and yet it's already become a hot topic on the net. However, Wong Yi Hing and Konnie Lui's performance in the program has created more "puzzles." In Hong Kong TV Discussion Forum, there are more than 10 "Mystery" related topics and the netizens have been asking many questions that puzzle them. Someone even made fun of Wong Yi Hing pictures and changed him into a were-wolf and so forth.

Yesterday "Mystery" producer personally talked about the program and answered to those questions. Wong Yi hing is being called "exaggerated guy," the producer says Adam and Wong Yi Hing play the roles of investigator in this program. Wong Yi Hing is playing his role and it requires him to act secretive. Their image is taken from "Men in Black," therefore, it requires them to pose in a suave manner. There's a comparison that Wong Yi Hing who is 28-year-old, yet his performance looks pale comparing to Adam who is 60-year-old. The producer replies, "Adam's suaveness has already left a deep impression in the viewer's hearts. The viewers need to take time to get used to Wong Yi Hing's role. As for Adam who reads his scripts eloquently and steady, while Wong yi Hing's voice sounds low, but he had already tried hard and the producer thinks Wong can fit in his role well.

Is "Mai's girl" mute? Why does she wear a red dress and wander about? The producer says mai's girl doing catwalk is her trademark movement. In the 25 episodes, most of the time she will be wearing red but she is not playing a ghost, she is Adam's assistant and she only speaks in English. Her line is not much except, Adam, file and next week, she will be doing different investigations. she will have different image in each story and in the last episode, she will only speak one Chinese word, this could only be revealed at the end. The producer indicats that "Mystery" has a rich content, hence, they are using a relaxed way to host the program. She hopes that more viewers will be able to accept the creativeness of the producers and let them have more creativity space. Regarding that, this is a hot topic that the netizens have been discussing, the producer thinks it's good that there are topics to talk about.

The rating of the second episode of "Mystery" has risen again. It has an average of 25 points and highest at 27 points. It has attracted another 130,000 viewers more compared to the first episode.
