Adam is an Expert in Liven up the Atmosphere on the Set

Adam has mentioned in a scene that he enjoys filming. That scene is when Adam and Jiao Huang reunite at Beijing Hutong. He was holding a roasted sweet potato and breaking it into half subconsciously. This is because when he (Li Guo Kai) was a kid, his brother once almost died due to hunger, he picked up a sweet potato that was covered with soil on the ground and shared it with his brother. This scene left a deep impression on Adam.

Adam is very serious when filming but behind the scene, he is the most active one. It is just like what Lin Shen (who plays his younger son), Bowie Tseng (who plays his daughter), Zhang Yongzhi (who plays his elder son) said. Adam is the one who can liven up the atmosphere in the filming set. For example, when the two brothers Adam and Jiao Huang saw each other at the set, they would discuss about "kung fu" and they would even shout out the fighting sounds from their mouths and surprised the young actors.

And during filming, Adam also didn't forget to response humorously. Once when they filmed a scene of Li Guo Kai's family being kidnapped. At first it was the daughter and housekeeper being kidnapped and next was about Li Guo Kai, his wife and the elder brother returning home together and they were attacked by the kidnappers who hid behind the door. When filming that scene, Adam came to the set first and started discussing the scene with the "kidnappers" how to do that part. Then Jiao Huang also arrived and Adam was full of smile when he introduced Jiao Huang, "This is my brother Li Guo Rong." After introduction, Jiao Huang shook hands with the "kidnappers." Then Adam finally said, "Brother, it's useless for you to shake hands with them. When filming, their guns will still be pointing at you."

With regards of what others say about Adam being the expert who liven up the atmosphere, Adam laughed and said filming is boring and tiring, must learn how to adjust your mood and help to lead others' moods too. To act a lubricant, this is also good for creating new ideas.
