"Return in Glory" Storyline

After Hong Kong returned to china in 1997, The two brothers Li Guo kai(Adam) and Li Guo Rong(Jiao Huang) are finally reunited. Now the elder brother is already a famous chef in a Beijing Duck restaurant while the younger brother Li Guo Kai (Adam) is the President of Rong Kai (Triumph and Glory) group in Hong Kong. The difference between Hong Kong and China, their different lifestyles, status and experiences have caused frictions between them. When Li Guo Rong's adopted son went to work in Hong Kong, the different lifestyle of the children, the process of them striving for their success has gradually linked the family together.

Hong Kong's economy falls due to Asian finance crisis. Li Guo Kai's family foundation is also affected. The business-talented Li Ming Jian (younger son of Li Guo Kai) leaves his dad's company, sets up his own and later becomes bankrupted.
