Adam Clarifies and Defends for His Wife

Yesterday Adam returned to TVB to film TVB 2008 calender. With regards to various gossip news reporting that his wife has prevented him from visiting Lydia Sum, Adam responded, "That's impossible! she always reminds me to go visit Lydia Sum. The way you write about her will make her unhappy, she doesn't want to be involved in these rumours." Asked Adam if he's worried about Lydia Sum's illness, Adam said, "I have spoken to her on the phone, she's ok, has been going out to eat all the time."

Adam said he's lucky that he didn't speculate in shares. Yesterday he said, "Because earlier, I had always been away and so I didn't invest in shares, neither did I earn nor suffer losses. But now the shares have been regaining, I think now is the time to buy when the price is low.

Regarding Lydia Sum's news about her condition, gossip magazines wrote that Eve has pressurized Adam and stopped him from visiting Lydia Sum and daughter. Also wrote that Eve scolded the reporters who were waiting for them outside the house. Yesterday Adam clarified for Eve, "She won't say those words to the reporters and she doesn't stop me from visiting Lydia Sum either. She has been reminding me to visit her instead." Although Adam hasn't personally visited Lydia Sum, but he has called her to send his regards. Adam said, "She's not very well and don't know if she wants me to visit her or not. Now just wait for my daughter to arrange the time."

Regarding gossip magazine reports saying Eve has forbidden Adam to visit Lydia Sum and being fierce to scold reporters. Adam clarified for Eve, "Of course not. I only care about my work so my wife has been reminding me to go visit Lydia Sum and daughter. Suddenly at that time, someone just popped out in front of her car, my wife felt it was very dangerous, so she only said a sentence, "I want to drive."

Asked if he has visited Lydia Sum, Adam said, "Will have to ask daughter to make arrangement. I haven't been to her house before and don't know if she likes it or not or is it convenient?" Although he hasn't visited her, he has spoken to her on the phone. He know that Lydia Sum is feeling a bit tired. Asked if he's worried about her health? Adam replied, "You will be worried when something happens to a friend." Regarding Eve often being described by the magazines that she is a fierce wife, Adam defended her, "She can (like has the rights) to be fierce to me, but people cannot say she is fierce. She's already not in the showbiz and also, she doesn't even talk (about the gossips)."
