Chow Goon! Really Lovable Chow Goon!

These few days I finished work at 1am. I always leave the TV station by humming an edited version of a song named "Youth is Really Cute." Adam is so cute that you would never be able to guess it.

Before I get to formally meet Adam, I was already very familiar with him, as if I had know him long ago. For stars who leave a deep impression on the viewers, they will have this ability to make you feel as if you are already familiar with them and also a little distance and unsure. The very first impression that I have on Adam should be "Greed of Man" Ding Hai. At that time, I was still a student. Every night I would chase after series but no series that was as shocking as "Greed of Man." Adam who played Ding Hai, had already thrown his sons off the building in the first episode. On the next day, everyone in school was talking about this topic and nevertheless, at that time the game we loved to play was imitating the crazy and stubborn Ding Hai.

Actually the fact is, if not Adam, there's no one who can play this complicated role well. Because this role is played by Adam, therefore we are more sympathetic to Ding Hai. And it's also because of him, this role can be individually recognized without help from the series. When I was in school, besides Aaron Kwok's "Always Loving You" dance and Marlboro Red Hot Hits dance, I had also tried dancing Adam "Instinct" with my classmates before!

Talk about dancing, in the new program "Mystery", there's a part that Adam and I will need to dance Tango. Adam who has the nickname of "dancing king Chow", it's easy for him and within a while, he can remember the dance steps. Adam is best at making other people feel that he can do things easily and can handle everything well. This is something that not every star can succeed. I still remembered that in one of TVB's anniversaries, Adam imitated the four kings and he wore a sunglasses imitating Arron Kwok's dancing and could do it. When he wore the skin-colour clothing to imitate Andy Lau, he could do it too. I saw that until I was screaming...later I talked to my uncle and then I learned that, way before I was born, Adam already had the nickname "bah yeh Chow." At that time, he imitated a Japanese singer's "Oh gal" and he was so trendy. I must had been blind for not knowing how good he was.

Many people have asked if I felt any pressure working with Adam? In the beginning, I didn't know, but when I walked near Adam and when the filming started, I suddenly felt pressurize. Later, when one take of the scene was not accepted and had to redo, the director shouted and said, "Do it now (pronounced as jik lei)." Adam suddenly said, "Jack Nicholson, ok" (Jack Nicholson's name in short Cantonese name is Jik Nei). Slowly, I turned my head and looked at Adam, he was still looking so elegant and suave as if the cold joke was not said by him, and as if i was pressurized and it was my illusion...
